The AWTE Awards 2025 recognise individuals and organisations advancing diversity, innovation, and leadership - particularly those championing women’s voices across the industry.
Michelle Laverick, Chair of the AWTE says: “We are excited to once again honour individuals and organisations who go above and beyond to make our industry an incredible sector to work in. These awards embody our values of diversity, leadership, and meaningful impact, and it’s a pleasure to celebrate alongside our exceptionally talented peers.”
Participants are invited to nominate outstanding contributors across the following categories:
• Outstanding Achievement Award: Honouring an individual with exceptional accomplishments in the travel sector.
• Male Ambassador Award: Recognises a male industry professional actively supporting women in business.
• Mentor of the Year Award: Celebrates exemplary mentorship within the AWTE community.
• Sustainability Award: For individuals or organisations demonstrating leadership in sustainability.
• Unsung Hero Award: Acknowledges impactful contributions often made behind the scenes.
• Rising Star of the Year Award: Open to exemplary individuals under 30 years old making significant impacts.
• The Gillyan Shebbeare Award: Named after AWTE’s benefactor, this award honours exceptional fundraising efforts for charity. The winner receives a £500 grant toward their chosen cause.
