Taking place at the Phoenix Arts Club, London on Monday 18 May, the free-to-attend event will bring together some of the industry’s leading voices to tackle a provocative question: Do travellers care about sustainability – and does it matter?
Moderated by Wanderlust's George Kipouros, the debate promises candid discussion and practical insight from a heavyweight panel including Sunvil Group's managing director Chris Wright, Abta's head of sustainability Carol Rose, Ian Corbett, head of sustainability at Tui, TerraVerde founder Patrick Richards and sustainable tourism marketing expert, Professor Xavier Font.
The event will begin with networking from 4pm, followed by the debate from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, before further drinks and discussion into the evening.
The debate also marks the launch of the ITT Sustainability CommunITTy, a new network designed to connect travel professionals committed to driving meaningful change across the sector.
The initiative aims to create a collaborative space for sharing expertise, accessing sustainability resources and supporting businesses at every stage of their sustainability journey. Members will also be able to access discounted carbon literacy training through TerraVerde Sustainability.
The CommunITTy will be chaired by Just a Drop founder Fiona Jeffery, alongside committee members representing organisations including DERTOUR UK, easyJet holidays, BCD Travel, the Greek National Tourism Organisation and TTG Media.
Admission is complimentary and non-members are welcome, with attendees also invited to learn more about discounted introductory membership offers on the night.
Those interested in attending can register for a free place via the ITT Sustainability Big Debate registration page.
