The competition, organised by international development charity Just a Drop and sponsored by Visit Malta, will take place at Fulham Football Club's iconic Premier League ground on London's River Thames, Craven Cottage, on 27 May.
TTG Media, easyJet holidays, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Silversea, Dertour UK, Kuoni, CV Villas and Audley Travel have all entered teams so far. A limited number of laces are still available priced at £2,500 per team (up to 10 players), alongside a selection of sponsorship opportunities from £500.
Sponsorship opportunities offer brands a high-profile presence on the day, including access to the tournament, visibility across key moments and the opportunity to engage directly with industry peers.
The day will also feature a series of challenges, including a penalty shootout and a crossbar competition, before transitioning into an evening networking reception at Fulham FC’s newly refurbished Riverside hospitality venue.
Every penny raised from the day will support Just a Drop’s vital work to provide safe water, sanitation, and hygiene to communities around the world.
Andy Mabbutt, organiser of Travel United Cup, said: “I’m so delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 Travel United Cup. Back on the hallowed turf of actual Premier League football pitch, the historical Craven Cottage – home of Fulham FC – it promises to be so much fun. And we are so looking forward to seeing the travel industry’s equivalent of Lionel Messi."
He added: "The support and enthusiasm for this tournament since we launched it in 2023 has been inspiring. It’s an amazing event to raise much-needed funds for Just a Drop, to help with the incredible work they do around the globe.”
Fiona Jeffery OBE, Just a Drop president and founder, said: “I’m thrilled that Travel United Cup is back. It’s always heartwarming to see so many people come together in support of a shared cause and to just have fun. It’s a great team day, and I’m looking forward to welcoming some familiar faces – and hopefully new ones – back to Craven Cottage in May.”
Tolene van der Merwe, UK & Ireland director of Visit Malta, said: “We’re really excited to once again be sponsoring Travel United Cup. It’s been great to watch the tournament grow over the last few years and to see the support that it’s received across the travel industry.
"Tourism is a force for good, and Visit Malta is proud to be supporting something that will transform the lives of people around the world.”
