Jim Eastwood takes up the newly created role of UK Chief Executive, overseeing both corporate and leisure businesses, strengthening the group's focus on franchise recruitment and expanding the Travel Counsellor community.
Eastwood, who was previously Global Sales Director, appeared on hit BBC show The Apprentice in 2011.
Kirsten Hughes, meanwhile, has been appointed Group Chief Commercial Officer. Previously UK Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer, Hughes's remit will take on a global dimension.
Following its acquisition in December of Canadian agency The Travel Agent Next Door, Travel Counsellors now supports more than 4,000 travel business owners worldwide, with operations in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and North America.
In addition, former Director of Franchise Sales Matt Harding becomes Franchise Managing Director.
Steve Byrne, Travel Counsellors' Global Chief Executive, said: "This evolution builds on the depth of expertise already within our leadership team and strengthens our ability to combine innovative technology, collective commercial strength and genuine human connection.
"As we scale, our priority remains the same - staying close to our Travel Counsellors and ensuring they feel supported, confident and empowered to grow their businesses. That balance – scale with personal support – is what sets Travel Counsellors apart and underpins the continued success of our community."
In other changes, Pedro Castro, previously Strategy and Transformation Director, is appointed Chief International and Growth Officer to expand the business.
His role is taken by Sam Dixon, who joins from outside the industry as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. His remit includes embedding AI into the company’s growth plans.
Other changes see Jon Bauer take on an enhanced international remit as Chief Technology Officer, tasked with leading the evolution of Travel Counsellors’ digital personal platform. Like Dixon, he will focus on integrating innovative new technologies as well as AI capability.
Travel Counsellors said further leadership appointments would be made in the coming months.
