The hub features dedicated sections for Citalia, Sovereign Luxury Travel and American Holidays where agents can access updates on each of the brands, their active offers, deals and incentives – including fam trip prize draws – as well as training without having to switch to another portal.
The website will also offer assets for social media, email marketing collateral and in-store display options, with SHG promising every asset generated via the hub will be compliant with the Competition and Markets Authority's new pricing guidance on ensuring any local fees and taxes are displayed upfront.
"We are very aware agents have to make their time count," said Jorge Quibell, SHG's head of trade partnerships. "That's why we have concentrated on making the hub practical and useful – and most importantly, as frictionless as possible."
Agents will also be able to quickly look up contact details for the brand's trade sales team, including Quibell, trade partnerships managers Kim Sellman and Luke Swarbrook, and newly appointed trade partnership executive Maria Petkova.
Petkova this week became the fourth former member of Classic Collection staff to join SHG after the group was acquired by TravCorp last summer. Quibell and Sellman are also ex-Classic having joined last October.
The hub was developed in partnership with Travel Marketing Systems. SHG added: "The investment is a further example of the group's commitment to growing its travel agent business by making life easier for retail partners across the industry, whether they are homeworkers, independent retail agents or multiples."
