Agent training, yoga sessions, themed masterclasses – and even a beer-tasting event.
These are just some of the highlights of a brand new festival launched by TTG Media in partnership with Visit Florida to boost agent knowledge of the US state.
Florida Fest is free to attend, and will kick off on Monday 5 October, with different sessions taking place every day that week, giving agents the tools, knowledge and confidence to sell the sunshine state to your customers.
The festival is aimed at both those who are new to selling travel as well as Florida aficionados.
Monday will begin with a buyers’ event, featuring two panel discussions focusing on key Florida suppliers and how they’re navigating through the Covid-19 crisis, as well as a UK market update with trends and patterns for 2021 Florida sales.
Speakers will include Visit Florida’s president and chief executive Dana Young as well as Tricia Birmingham, product and commercial director, dnata B2B Europe (including Gold Medal) and Lee Haslett, vice-president leisure sales, Virgin Atlantic.
The week even includes a beer-tasting – those who sign up will be mailed three beers to then sample live during the tasting event on Thursday 8 October at 5pm.
The beer-tasting event is limited to 100 places, and will be first come first served, so delegates are urged to sign up quickly (by midnight Monday 28 September) if they wish to take part.
