Garvey-Jones, who is also communications director for AWTE and national retail manager for Holiday Extras, was commended for her work with the LGBTQIA+ community, the Travel Talks Menopause initiative and creating workplace policy to support employees.
The list is comprised of "influential trailblazers" from across the North who "challenge the norm" and "use their influence and power for good".
Garvey-Jones said to be recognised for "always aiming to support an industry in making changes, challenging bias and narratives of the norm to make room for progress and include those who feel othered" was "incredible".
"But all this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Holiday Extras and the AWTE, who have provided me with the platforms on which to thrive by creating cultures which harness equality, diversity and inclusivity in its values and works towards making a place to work without judgement," she added.
"I would also like to thank the Northern Power Women for recognising me and to all those who have gone before me making this path an easier one."
