Turner announced the decision in a post on LinkedIn earlier this week.
It ends his 18-year association with Beds With Ease sister firm Broadway Travel.
Turner joined the business in 2001, and worked his way up to product director.
He was appointed Beds With Ease managing director last March, vowing to bolster the bed bank’s trade endeavours.
He oversaw the launch of the firm’s new more agent-friendly website, and told TTG back in March about Beds With Ease’s plans to roll out new tour packages, search options and API links.
"It is with both a heavy heart and excitement I announce that after over 18 years across various roles within Broadway Travel, and latterly as managing director of Beds With Ease, I have taken the decision to resign from the business," said Turner.
"Having been involved in so much over the years, it has given me great experience across sales, marketing, product and purchasing while having the opportunity to develop a successful brand and work closely with some fantastic colleagues, partners and key agents which I will always be thankful for.
"I am sure all of the experiences to date will help me immensely as I seek my next opportunity and I look forward with great optimism to what the future holds."
TTG has approached Beds With Ease for further comment.
