Gold Medal and Travel 2 have appointed three new key account managers.
Carmen Moreira and Nichola Marston join the trade specialist from Thomas Cook, while Rachael Belshaw arrives from daily deals website Itison.
Belshaw will be responsible for the north east and Yorkshire region, and Moreira for central England.
Marston, meanwhile, will support Gold Medal Travel 2’s national accounts.
It comes following the dnata-owned brands’ review of their regions and the areas covered by on-the-road staff.
The operators say the restructure will allow them to increase face-to-face contact with agents and tour operator partners.
Nick Hughes, Gold Medal and Travel 2 sales director B2B Europe, said: “Making sure our sales structure is able to cope with our continued growth is something we have put a lot of effort in to.
“Good businesses stay as close as possible to suppliers and customers, so it is imperative that we ensure our account managers are working efficiently. Streamlining the area each has to cover means they will be able to spend less time in the car and more time meeting the people who matter.
“We will also be stepping up efforts to get around to agents who work with us less.”
Prior to Itison, Belshaw worked at Attraction World as a business development manager, and featured in TTG’s 30 Under 30 2016/17 intake. Moreira was most recently retail sales manager for the west of England at Thomas Cook.
The pair take the Gold Medal Travel 2 team managed by head of sales Colin Currie up to 10 in total, all focused on building the operators’ relationships with the rest of the trade.
Marston will report to head of national accounts Clare Weatherall.
