India will lift its ban on flights from the UK this week.
Flights from the UK to India will resume on Friday (8 January), with inbound services recommencing from Wednesday (6 January), the Indian government has confirmed.
India announced an extension of the suspension of UK flights on 30 December, but has now said it will relax the ruling.
Passengers flying to Mumbai from the UK must undergo quarantine at designated hotels at their own cost for 14 days.
