Agents should capitalise on a likely spike in demand for tours of India off the back of new six-part ITV drama Beecham House, according to operator Indus Experiences.

The show, set mainly in Indian capital Delhi, debuted on Sunday evening (23 June), and Indus believes it is likely to generate “a surge in interest in holidays to India”.

Indus says it is able to assist agents with tailor-made itineraries throughout the country, leaning on its near 25 years’ experience as an India specialist operator and its “extensive portfolio” in the region, which includes a range of small group tours and access to expert local guides.

Other locations featured in the show include Chimu Palace in Jaipur, Unesco World Heritage site Amber Fort and the iconic Taj Mahal.
