Abercrombie & Kent has announced a number of new appointments as part of a realignment.
Diogo Castanheira has joined the operator as sales manager for Northern England, Scotland and Ireland from Hianan Airlines.
Mark Harris will join the company as sales manager for the South of England, joining from Wendy Wu Tours.
The newly-built sales team has been tasked with driving relationships with the trade, and the relaunch of escorted tours, with the newly-hired Michael Fleetwood.
Elsewhere, Ben Briggs joins as senior marketing manager – distribution, also from Wendy Wu.
He will manage a team of five and have a variety of specialisms including PR, brand partnerships, social media and digital.
The company has realigned various aspects of the business in 2018 to work more strategically, with the creation of specialist programmes for each of its key divisions - tailor-made, escorted tours, villas, ski, beach and private clients.
The operator has new offices in Covent Garden, London, “following five successive years of double digit growth” and the UK head office in Cheltenham remains.
Kerry Golds, managing director of A&K, said: “Our business is growing, and with that comes exciting change as we welcome new faces to the business at a time when we’ve never been stronger.
“Today’s pace of change is exponential, and we need to excel in all areas of our business, and our investment in these new appointments will ensure continued success.”
