The management team in charge of Travel 2 and Gold Medal has been boosted by the appointment of Thomas Cook’s ex head of long-haul product.
Matt Appleby will join managing director Andy Freeth’s senior team in November.
Prior to his most recent role, Appleby sent three years in the role of head of product for Thomas Cook Scheduled Businesses, which included the Gold Medal and Netflights brands.
Freeth said: “With a new leadership team in place designed to maximise the phenomenal talent of the Gold Medal and Travel 2 families, Matt joins the team at a very exciting time.
