The 39-page booklet includes advice and guidance on restoring confidence, assessing skill sets, optimising LinkedIn profiles and preparing for interviews.
Matt Harding, head of recruitment at Travel Counsellors, said the company has experienced an increased level of agents asking for advice about their next career move after the government’s furlough scheme drew to a close.
"Whether people are looking for further information about launching a new business with us, or for more general advice on where they want to take their career next, our intention is to support experienced agents to find the best way forward for them," he added.
Harding said the aim of the guide is to "retain experience and talent within the travel sector" and to keep people "who care about their customers within an industry they love".
"By further developing this guide, Travel Counsellors hopes to provide guidance and support to help travel professionals make decisions that will positively shape their future career," he continued.
"The guide is a fantastic free resource, which is available to anyone interested in progressing their career within the travel industry.
"There is no requirement to submit any contact details and there are no expectations to pursue a career with Travel Counsellors."
The firm also reported its new bookings are currently running at comparable levels to 2019, with Spain as the most popular destination for Brits looking to travel imminently. Winter bookings for US, Caribbean and UAE trips are also reportedly performing well.
