Atkinson – who was head of sales for JacTravel prior to joining Travellanda – has been tasked with “driving growth” and “taking company to the next level”.

As key account manager her role was to manage all large accounts and to help develop a high level sales strategy for the company – since then, the company has continued to break targets and has grown significantly, it said.

“It was a pleasure accepting this new role and I am looking forward to raising the bar,” said Atkinson.

“These are exciting times at Travellanda and we aim to continue the growth even more, building existing markets as well as developing new ones across the globe. We are already talking with several key players in the industry which could see the company grow exponentially over the next few months.”
