Moves this week see a familiar face to many agents, particularly former Global Travel Group members, return to the fold with a new trade-focused accommodation platform.

Travelpack has made an important hire, one it believes will help the brand develop its cruise offering, while Intrepid Travel has named its new general manager UK and Ireland – its former head of trade, no less.

Elsewhere, Explora Journeys has taken on a new business relationship expert, Silversea’s Megan Saunders, following the departure of Raj Mistry, who has joined Railbookers.

Meanwhile, Hurtigruten Expeditions has named Hayley Vandersteen’s successor as UK trade partnerships manager, with Vandersteen taking on the role of senior onboard sales manager.

CV Villas has also made a double promotion as it seeks to continue growing its business from the trade, which is now outstripping new direct business.
