Registration has opened for the free-to-attend series of online events taking place in July
Returning for the second year this July, TTG Florida Fest will be bringing the Sunshine State’s latest news and best training content to a computer screen near you. The week-long, free-to-attend series of online events will span five days from 12-16 July and is designed to equip agents – whether they’re Florida experts or new to the destination – with all the tools and knowledge they need to sell getaways to the holiday hotspot.
“Agents are in for another fun-filled but also educational week with this year’s TTG Florida Fest,” says Lauren Pace, director of global marketing and trade at Visit Florida. “The online events are a mix of formal sales trainings, in-depth masterclasses and fun experiential sessions, with a chance to win some great prizes along the way.”
TTG Florida Fest will kick off by bringing together airlines, airports, ancillaries providers, tour operators and top-selling agents in a seminar, during which these experts will share their insight into the current Floridian climate of their sector or business.
Following the seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to network with the speakers as well as regional tourist boards and attraction providers on the dedicated event platform.
“Connecting and engaging with agents is essential and at the very core of what we do,” says Pace. “We know that agents are passionate about Florida and already have a great wealth of knowledge, but there’s always more we can do to help them sell our beautiful state.”
Five masterclasses taking place during the festival will transport attendees across the pond in fresh video footage and inspirational conversations showcasing the state. With each tailored to a specific type of traveller (and one for new-to-Florida agents or those in need of a recap), these masterclasses will help with matching a holiday itinerary to a client or vice versa.
Come Friday, the festival’s event partners will step up to the screen to deliver training presentations and the opportunity for attendees to ask the presenters any questions they may have.
But TTG Florida Fest isn’t all about business; there are two opportunities to take part in experiential events set to break the mould. While the topics haven’t been confirmed, there are whispers of sweet treats and even sweeter exclusive experiences – watch this space.
“We want to open agents’ minds to the fact that Florida has something for every type of customer,” says Pace.
