TTG has launched a new drive to support the trade as the sector works together to #RestartTravel.
Launching ahead of peaks, TTG has created a series of downloadable assets to encourage customers to stop dreaming – and get booking – their 2021 holidays.
From window posters to different social media marketing tools, the assets are hosted on the savetravel.co.uk website, highlighting the value of booking with a travel agent.
The window poster carries the message: “2020 was a tough year for all of us. We all need a break. It’s time to stop dreaming and get booking your holiday of a lifetime. Book with confidence. Book with your trusted travel agent.”
The social media assets have a more simple message, but still highlight the importance of booking with an agent.
Sophie Griffiths, editor of TTG said: “The travel sector has been devastated by the coronavirus crisis, and TTG has worked hard to support the trade every step of the way through our #OneTravelIndustry, #SaveTravel and #HolidayToHelpOut campaigns.
“Finally, with the rollout of the vaccine and government’s Test to Release scheme, there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and we want to continue doing everything we can to support the trade and kick-start the travel industry.
“We know the journey is far from over, but with peaks coming up, inspiring and reassuring customers has never been more important. We want to use the #RestartTravel push to remind customers they can book with confidence by booking with a travel agent.
