Tui’s summer 2020 programme will feature a handful of new short- and mid-haul destinations, with a renewed focus on non-eurozone destinations.
New additions include Agadir in Morocco, Marsa Alam in Egypt, Antalya in Turkey and Enfidha in Tunisia, as well as the Greek island of Zakynthos.
Its weekly Newcastle-Agadir service will get under way on 7 May 2020, flying on Thursdays.
Accommodation options include include the 4T+ Riu Palace Tikida Beach, an adults-only Platinum hotel, which will be rebranded Tui Sensimar Tikida Beach in time for summer 2020, and the 4Sun Riu Tikida Dunas hotel, which features a kids’ club for youngsters aged four to 17.
Elsewhere, Tui’s weekly Manchester-Marsa Alam service, launching 6 November 2019 flying on Wednesdays, will be extended into summer 2020, starting 6 May. The operator has also added a second weekly flight to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, opening up new seven, 10, 11 and 14-night durations.
From Bristol, Tui will launch weekly flights to Enfidha starting 4 May 2020, flying Mondays, while adding an additional weekly flight to Reus, Spain, launching 26 May 2020, with the route operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Bournemouth gains a weekly Zakynthos flight, launching 3 May 2020 operating on Sundays, while Edinburgh’s network will be bolstered by a weekly Saturday flight to Antalya.
Tui put its summer 2020 programme on last November, citing consumer demand for earlier bookings. Alongside First Choice, it will offer thousands of free children’s places, short- and mid-haul deposits from £50pp and long-haul from £125pp.
Meanwhile, for summer 2019, Tui has added new routes to Naples, Dubrovnik and Hurghada from Cardiff, as well as a seasonal Aberdeen-Rhodes service.
Flights to Naples will link up with Marella Explorer 2, which is homeported in the city, while Tui’s new route to Dubrovnik will feed its Adriatic Affair itinerary aboard Marella Celebration.
Tui’s Aberdeen-Rhodes service will operate weekly on Wednesdays through to 23 September.
