All staff in the Tunisian tourism sector who come into direct contact with foreign customers can now receive a Covid vaccine.
Seven vaccination centres dedicated to industry staff have been set up across the country.
Hotel, airport, museum and travel agency staff can come forward for their jabs now, as well as local guides and tourist drivers.
The initiative is part of Tunisia’s national vaccination strategy, which has identified those working in the country’s tourism industry as a priority group.
On 1 June, the country reopened to fully vaccinated travellers.
Those still awaiting full vaccination can enter the country with a negative PCR test result.
