Hopeful Jedis can become heroes of the Resistance in a new Star Wars attraction at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and California’s Disneyland Park.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is an “immersive” experience which puts guests in “massive sets” and gives them the task of eluding the clutches of Kylo Ren and the First Order in a mad dash through a Star Destroyer.
The attraction opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida on 5 December and will open at Disneyland Park in California on 17 January.
“Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance sets a new standard for what a theme park experience can be,” said Bob Chapek, Disney Parks’ experiences and products chairman, at the opening last week.
“Tonight, we’re welcoming the world to experience the Star Wars galaxy like never before, with the opening of the most ambitious, immersive, advanced, action-packed attraction we’ve ever created.”
