Former Liberal Democrat leader Vince Cable is among the additions to the speaker line-up at the 2019 Aito overseas conference later this month.
Cable, a former business secretary, will address delegates on “all things Brexit”, delivering insight on potential Brexit scenarios against a backdrop of the forthcoming general election.
He previously addressed the 2016 Aito conference in Jordan.
The conference, to be held in the Polish city of Wroclaw over 21-24 November, will centre around a theme of “What’s the future?”.
Joining Cable is philanthropist, coach and speaker Craig Goldblatt, who will challenge delegates to examine their purpose, intention, identity, values and beliefs to promote intellectual wellbeing and growth of leadership skills.
Other speakers include Aneil Bedi, chief executive of Brand Agents Ltd and a former chief executive of PR agency M&C Saatchi; broadcaster and speaker Professor James Woudhuysen, who will examine forthcoming technological advance over the next 10 years; and entrepreneur, business mentor, author, speaker and trainer Mark Rhodes.
Aito chairman Derek Moore said: “We are developing a punchy and diverse conference programme this year to match the theme ’What’s the future?’.
“Visiting Wroclaw, 2016 European City of Culture and newly crowned 2019 City of Literature, is a great opportunity for Aito members to explore a potential new destination for weekend breaks and longer holidays alike.
“The Polish Tourism Organisation has been extremely supportive in its organisation of this important annual event in Aito’s calendar, and we look forward to introducing members to Wroclaw at the end of this month.”
Robert Andrzejczyk, chairman of the Polish Tourism Organisation, added: “The UK is already one of Poland’s largest markets, but our country has so much to offer that we strongly believe Poland will attract even more tourists from the UK in the future.
“The Aito conference will give UK travel industry experts the opportunity to experience the destination and we believe this will inspire them to create new holidays for their customers. We plan a truly memorable experience for Aito conference delegates.”
