The Fairer Travel Event, which will take place at Sustainable Ventures on London’s South Bank on Tuesday 1 July, will aim to set out practical steps forward for travel industry stakeholders looking to drive change in sustainability and diversity and inclusion in their businesses.
Keynote speaker on the day will be broadcaster Mary Portas OBE, who will talk about how and why businesses can be a force for good.
Other speakers include Matt Callaghan, chief commercial officer at easyJet Holidays, and Jo Rzymowska, diversity campaigner and Hays Travel board member.
A series of "soapbox" sessions will take place during the day, with participants invited to share what changes they want to see in the world of travel. More speakers are due to be announced soon.
The headline partner at the event is the Spanish Tourist Office; other partners include easyJet Holidays and Inghams.
