The sailing, which comes two months after its original launch date of January 2026, departed from Malaga, Spain on Friday to begin a nine-night journey around the Mediterranean.
Built by Fincantieri, Four Seasons I features 95 suites, all of which include floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces.
Key features include the Funnel Suite, which, at nearly 10,000 square feet, can accomodate up to 11 guests.
Housed in the ship’s glass-enclosed funnel, this penthouse-style apartment includes three bedrooms, two master bathrooms, two walk-in wardrobes, a living room and a fully operational kitchen. It also has a private splash pool, an outdoor gym and a private elevator.
For dining, guests can expect 11 restaurants and lounges. Japanese fare will be served at its Omakase-style restaurant, while the Mediterranean Seafood Grill will specialise in "catch of the day" dishes in an al-fresco setting. Elsewhere,
The Sedna restaurant will showcase haute cuisine, with a rotating line-up of Michelin-starred talent from the Four Seasons global portfolio, including Christian Le Squer and Guillaume Galliot.
Rare spirits and vintage labels will be available at Bar O, while the Horizon Bar will offer a more relaxed atmosphere for daytime drinks and light bites.
Located on Deck 4 is L’Oceana Spa, which includes a hammam, thermal circuit, and medical-grade treatments such as cryotherapy and infrared therapy beds. There’s also a fitness centre equipped with Technogym machines and AI-powered personalised programming.
A standout technical feature of Four Seasons I is its transverse marina, which opens across both the port and starboard sides of the hull to provide guests direct sea access for water sports.
This deck will serve as the primary hub for ‘Marina Days’, which occur when the ship is anchored in calm coves. Guests will be able to enjoy a number of experiences on these days, including swimming, snorkelling and paddle-boarding. The ship also carries a fleet of equipment, including Electric foil boards (eFoils) and SeaBob, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.
For its inaugural year, Four Seasons I will operate 32 voyages across 52 sailings. The summer season will cover Mediterranean routes including Saint-Tropez, Bodrum, Hydra, and the Croatian coast, before the vessel relocates to the Caribbean and Bahamas for winter. Additional vessels are currently planned as part of a long-term global strategy.
