The brand last week confirmed Four Seasons I’s maiden voyage has been pushed back to March 2026, two months after its intended launch.
The super yacht will now begin its inaugural sailing season in the Mediterranean, rather than the Caribbean.
"After careful consideration, we have made the strategic decision to begin our exciting inaugural season in the Mediterranean, rather than the Caribbean," said Four Seasons in a statement shared with TTG.
"As a result, a limited number of early voyages have been removed from the schedule.
"We are offering guests affected by the timing shift a range of tailored options, and we remain committed to delivering an unparalleled yachting experience. We look forward to welcoming guests aboard Four Seasons l when we launch in March 2026."
Four Seasons I is currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard and completed its first float-out last January.
The ultra-luxury yacht will offer a 1:1 staff to guest ratio.
It will feature 95 suites with the option of private pools, saunas, steam rooms and gyms. Other highlights include three restaurants, which offer a choice of French, Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine, as well as seven bars and lounges.
For wellness, guests can expect a fully-serviced spa, a fitness centre and an aft deck with what it claims will be one of the “largest pools in the cruise industry".
The super yacht will boast advanced management systems to manage water use, waste and air, with further green technologies planned.
