Abta is inviting members to submit their own videos so they can be “front and centre” of the association’s Travel with Confidence campaign for 2021.
Danny Waine, Abta’s head of membership, used social media channels to urge members to get involved in the campaign by submitting a “selfie” video.
“For the first time we want you, our members to be front and centre of that campaign,” explained Waine on Twitter.
“Whether you are a retail travel agent, a homeworker or tour operator, we want your stories, your knowledge, your passion to come across and to tell the world why they should book their holiday with you.”
Waine added that selfie videos submitted by members should be no longer than 60 seconds.
“We are not looking for a professional, polished interview scenario, the theme is authenticity, real people, real knowledge and expertise, and real experience of travel,” he said.
