Air France has suspended five staff members following an attack on two managers during a meeting about job cuts earlier this month.
Human resources director Xavier Broseta was one of two executives to have his shirt torn off by a mob and had to escape by climbing a fence during the incident on October 5.
Another director Pierre Plissonnier also had to be escorted from the area by security guards.
Air France said that disciplinary action was being taken against 20 employees following the attack including the five suspended staff. They will face a trial in Paris on December 2 for aggravated violence.
The airline, part of Air France-KLM, is planning to cut 2,900 jobs and reduce long-haul routes in the latest stage of its long-running restructuring plan.
