Norwegian Cruise Line has announced itineraries for the winter 2022-2023 season including a range of trips through the Panama Canal and an itinerary from Southampton.
NCL will offer itineraries - ranging from eight to 21 days - through the Panama Canal with departures from October 2022 through to March 2023.
Norwegian Getaway will also operate a 13-day European sailing from Southampton to Rome departing on 14 November 2022.
The line is offering Caribbean itineraries of between five and 14 days for winter 2022-23, including calls at NCL’s enhanced private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.
There will also be sailings from California to the Mexican Riviera on Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Jewel from October 2022.
Harry Sommer, Norwegian Cruise Line’s president and chief executive, said: “As we all continue to daydream of our next cruise vacation, we are excited to open for sale new itineraries for those eager to visit a tropical destination or dive into cultural experiences through one of our extraordinary journeys.
“We are very hopeful we will resume operations soon but for now, our new itineraries will allow travellers to start planning ahead for their next cruise vacation with Norwegian Cruise Line.”
Earlier this week, NCL alongside rival Royal Caribbean Group submitted a Covid-19 safety plan to US authorities in a bid to restart the cruise industry.
