Wizz Air is introducing five new routes from Luton to Spain and Greece in early August.
The low-cost carrier will launch services to Alicante, Valencia, Ibiza, Menorca and Santorini on 7/8 August.
The move will also see Wizz basing an 11th aircraft at Luton with the airline now offering more than 60 routes from the airport.
Wizz already flies to several Greek destinations including Athens, Crete, Corfu, Zakynthos, Rhodes and Thessaloniki. Flights between the UK and Greece were able to resume on Wednesday (15 July).
Existing Spanish routes include Majorca, Malaga Castellon, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife.
Owain Jones, managing director of Wizz Air UK, said: “We’re excited to be welcoming back more and more customers who want to make travel memories this summer.”
Alicante (daily), Valencia (three weekly) and Santorini (twice daily) all launch on 7 August, while Ibiza (four weekly) and Menorca (three weekly) start on 8 August.
