Wizz Air has hit a new milestone having carried more than 30 million passengers in the last rolling 12 month period.
The increase was driven by 24% boost in operations across Europe in the last year and has intensified since early March when they carrier announced a plan to add 700 weekly flights to its itinerary.
As part of the strategy, which has already seen it launch 34 new routes, the airline will receive 21 Airbus aircraft to operate across its European bases.
Sorina Ratz, acting head of corporate communications at Wizz Air, said: “We continue to be one of Europe’s fastest growing airlines, with a strong and consistent double-digit growth every year, providing even more opportunities for our customers to travel at truly low prices."
