Former beauty queen-turned legal campaigner Erin Brockovich will give the keynote address at The Global Travel Group conference in the US next month.
Brockovich, who shot to fame in the 1990s for her role in exposing an industrial poisoning scandal in a California town, will close the consortium’s conference taking place November 25-29 in Orlando.
Since becoming a household name, Brockovich has been involved in a host of similar pollution class-action lawsuits, as well as writing a best-selling business book and having a movie starring Julia Roberts made about her, will speak about “her incredible life story and subsequent career fighting injustice”.
Global said the self-titled “gutsy broad who doesn’t ever apologise for who she is” will be promoting personal empowerment and showcasing why having the determination and will to succeed shapes every challenge she takes on.
Brockovich will be joined by fitness guru Mr Motivator – celebrating 25 years on TV in his trademark colourful spandex outfits – will be on hand to “get the fun started and inspiring delegates into shape” with his synonymous coaching style made famous through appearances on GMTV.

Cherie Richards, Global Travel Group commercial director, said: “The theme of our Florida conference is Ignite – Fire Up Your Business, so it seems fitting that the itinerary planned for our delegates is to prepare, inspire and motivate to have the best start to 2019 as they can.
“We are immensely proud to have Erin deliver the keynote session. She was a single mum who battled to better herself, and then fought tirelessly to help others. She is a true inspiration and along with our other speakers and panellists have all been carefully selected to inspire our audience”.
