Emirates has resumed flying from Birmingham, making the airport the fourth re-opened UK gateway.
Flights are operating on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, departing at 14.20 using a Boeing 777-300ER.
Birmingham joins Heathrow, Manchester and Glasgow in seeing the resumption of Emirates’ flights. Heathrow has three flights a day, while Manchester is daily and Glasgow four a week.
Richard Jewsbury, Emirates’ divisional vice president UK said: “Our teams in Birmingham and Dubai are delighted to be resuming passenger flights, reconnecting the Midlands with Emirates’ global network.
“We have taken comprehensive steps to keep our passengers, colleagues and communities safe, and look forward to welcoming passengers once again.”
