Peer-to-peer currency exchange WeSwap has boosted its on-the-road team with the appointment of Holidays Extras business development manager Lucy Holden.
Holden will work alongside the company’s newly appointed director of sales and new markets Matt Crate to bring WeSwap and its API products to the B2B market.
She joined the travel trade in 2016 and has experience across both leisure and business travel after working with a wide range of agents, OTAs, technology providers, GDS operators and TMCs.
The new role will involve responsibility for readying the sales and account management team to take WeSwap’s B2B product to market.
“I am thrilled to be working for a start-up,” said Holden. “I will be responsible for taking our B2B product to the travel market with Matt.
“This is the first API travel money solution available, making this is a unique partner proposition. So far it has had excellent feedback and the competitive commission structure makes this a compelling offer.
“We have some big targets to hit in 2019 but despite the Brexit uncertainty, I am confident we will exceed them.”
