Munro’s Travel in Aberdeen has left its Union Street home and taken up a smaller "more appropriately-sized" office space at Neo House, a move the agency’s said was reflective of the "evolving nature of modern business travel management".
The agency said the decision has been enabled by its ongoing investment in technology, which has allowed more members of the team to work remotely. Staff will have access to a sky lounge, with views of the River Dee, informal meeting spaces, a gym and on-site parking, as well as barista-style coffee.
The decision to leave Union Street also coincides with efforts to regenerate Aberdeen city centre, with the agency’s former premises poised to be converted into student accommodation.
"This move is about ensuring our team has the right environment to thrive," said Munro’s Travel managing director Murray Burnett. "Technology has given us the flexibility to work in new ways, and Neo House provides a modern, high-quality office space that reflects our future-focused approach.
"At the same time, we’re pleased our former home on Union Street will contribute to the regeneration of Aberdeen’s city centre. The city is evolving, and we’re proud to be part of that positive change."
