The Travel Network Group will host an afternoon tea later this month to follow up on the success of its recent open days.
More than a dozen new members have signed up to the consortium following the TNG’s latest series of drop-in sessions for those wanting to learn more about the group, and potentially join.
Its latest “journey to success” event will be held at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre Holiday Inn on May 22.
The event will feature presentations on the group’s core offering and services, and give attendees a chance to network with the TNG team and existing members.
Lisa Henning, the TNG’s group membership services director, said: “We made a commitment at our last conference to continue to strengthen our membership base and this will be our third recruitment event in the last six months.
“We are already seeing the benefit of inviting existing travel owners and travel entrepreneurs to talk to us through these meetings and as a result have already welcomed 13 new members to our group, with more in the pipeline.”
Henning reiterated there would be an opportunity for guests to hear first-hand how travel businesses work with the TNG through some of the group’s established members.
She added the event would be advertised across the Birmingham area and through a 14-day social media campaign.
“We have invested a sizeable advertising budget in these events in terms of the pre-marketing and particularly this next one in Birmingham,” said Henning.
More open days are planned for the remainder of 2018.
Anyone wishing to attend can reserve places through The Travel Network Group website.
