Turkish Airlines has announced a new route to Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast.
It will launch direct flights to Bodrum this spring from Gatwick, starting April 1.
Flights will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Bodrum is renowned for its beaches, quality hotels, and historical and archaeological sites – including the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Return flights start from £168.
Celal Baykal, Turkish Airlines general manager in London, said: “After a peak summer season in 2018, we’re delighted to announce we’re bringing direct flights back to Bodrum in 2019.
“With so much to see and do in the city, we look forward to welcoming thousands of passengers on board this summer and helping them to widen their world with Turkish Airlines.”
Flight will depart Gatwick on Mondays at 10pm, arriving Bodrum 4.20am (+1); Wednesdays at 9.40pm, arriving Bodrum 4am (+1); and Saturdays 9.35pm, arriving Bodrum 3.55am (+1).
Return flights depart Bodrum at 6.15pm on Mondays, arriving Gatwick 8.40pm; Wednesdays at 5.55pm, arriving Gatwick 8.20pm; and Saturdays at 6.10pm, arriving Gatwick 8.35pm.
