All the first flights from the five UK airports took off with more than 90% capacity and ceremonies were held at each to celebrate the inaugural services.
Due to an increase in popularity of holidays to Turkey, the carrier has expanded its number of flights to the destination for summer 2022.
The carrier will now offer flights to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Crete and Rhodes throughout the summer and plans to increase the number of destinations and frequency in 2023.
Corendon Airlines chairman Yildiray Karaer said demand from UK tourists for the company’s Antalya and Dalaman services is "very encouraging".
"Seeing our first flights for the summer 2022 season travel with full capacity is a fantastic start to what will be our first full season operating from the UK," Karaer added.
"We are delighted with the current demand for our flights. We can see that British tourists missed our country, following the travel restrictions over the last two years, caused during the Covid-19 outbreak."
Karaer said the airline aims to achieve close to full capacity on its summer flights this season and plans to continue flights to Antalya during the 2022/2023 the winter season.
