The coastal sailings have been operated by the line since 1893 and offer travellers the chance to sample "everyday life" in 34 small and large communities between Bergen and Kirkenes.
All ships operating the cruises have onboard guides that hold lectures and organise activities.
The new season will offer more than 70 optional shore excursions between Bergen to Kirkenes, including emission free excursions with electrical catamarans and tour buses.
Hurtigruten Norway chief Hedda Felin said the Coastal Express is the "original coastal voyage", and a "unique way to experience" the Norwegian coast.
"With almost 130 years of experience and history, the ship acts as a lifeline for small communities along the coast," she added.
Meanwhile, Hurtigruten Expeditions has launched more West African and South American expedition cruises in 23/24.
The line has added destinations such as the Galapagos, West Africa, the Caribbean, and year-round expedition cruises directly from Germany and UK to the Norwegian coast.
West African sailings will visit Cape Verde, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, and Senegal, with MS Spitsbergen based out of Dakar.
It will also offer a new, ten-day expedition cruise from Panama to Barbados.
Hurtigruten Expeditions chief executive Asta Lassesen said the company has received "clear" feedback from guests that they want to experience "new ways to explore".
"Exploration is not solely about geography; it’s a mindset," she added.
"This is the reason why we continue to launch and expand our offerings to immerse in nature, culture, history, and science across the whole planet."
