Malaysia Airlines has made several new appointments in the UK as it looks to grow sales across Europe as part of the Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign.
The changes, which take effect on Monday (2 December), will see Richard De Villa, currently marketing manager for UK and Europe being promoted to head of marketing, UK and Europe, with responsibility for overseeing an “increased investment in trade as well as consumer market activity”.
Meanwhile Natalie Kromponi will become the head of UK leisure and direct sales on her return from maternity leave, supported by Cheun Yin Tran.
Martyn Bell has also been appointed account manager, corporate sales, with the remit of increasing bookings from the business travel market as well as meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.
