From Friday (1 October), those who enter the country under its Sandbox isolation model, which allows travellers to roam freely in designated resorts, will have to show proof of vaccination at the point of entry.
They will also have to take a PCR test on arrival and a second before finishing the quarantine period.
Those who have not been vaccinated, without a vaccine certificate, or partially vaccinated, and who arrive in Thailand by air will be required to enter a 10-day quarantine, and take two PCR tests.
Arrivals who have not been vaccinated and travel to Thailand by land will still be required to enter a 14-day quarantine, and take two PCR tests.
The UK Foreign Office, though, is currently advising against all but essential travel to the destination on Covid grounds.
