Thomas Cook has revealed new aircraft branding promoting two of its eight own-brand hotels in a spectacular timelapse video.
Cook wants to raise awareness of its hotel portfolio following the launch of its newest line, Cook’s Club, last month.
One A321 aircraft will fly the flag for Cook’s Club while another will adopt a SENTIDO Hotels and Resorts livery.
The footage shows the complete Cook’s Club rebrand from start to finish, finally displayed resplendent in its new khaki colour scheme.
Christoph Debus, Cook’s chief airlines officer, said: “The two liveries look fantastic and we are very happy to support and promote two of the group’s own-brand hotels.”
Cook’s Club is the group’s new stripped-back hotel concept bringing “urban cool” to the beach. It will launch in Hersonissos on Crete in June aimed at a new generation of package holidaymakers after a more casual, fun hotel experience.
SENTIDO Hotels and Resorts, meanwhile, is Cook’s collection of four and five-star hotels in quality locations, focusing on detail, exceptional food, relaxation and activities, targeted at couples, groups and small families.
Ingo Burmester, chief hotels officer Thomas Cook hotels and resorts, said: “Our own-brand hotels allow us to give our customers unforgettable holidays, whatever their preference - and we want that to start the moment they board our aircraft.
“Our strategy is to strengthen the quality of our own-brand portfolio which now comprises eight brands. In addition, growing our airline is a key part of our group strategy, as demonstrated by a capacity growth of 10% in the group airline this summer.
“Our new flying ambassadors are a fantastic way to both collaborate and celebrate two key pillars within the Thomas Cook Group.”
The Cook’s Club branded A321 will fly for Thomas Cook Airlines in the UK from its permanent base at Manchester airport to various European beach destinations this summer.
The SENTIDO branded A321, which is white with shades of grey and an "I heart SENTIDO" moniker, will fly for Thomas Cook Aviation, based at Dusseldorf airport.
Debus added Cook was looking forward to flying a busy summer programme featuring new long-haul destinations like Seattle and Phoenix and new short and medium-haul locations such as Dubrovnik, Madeira and Thessaloniki.
