Escorted touring specialist Titan Travel has pledged to restart all holiday operations in February next year.
Land tours, as well as river and ocean cruises, will resume from 1 February 2021 the operator confirmed on Tuesday (1 September).
Clients booked on cancelled trips can recoup up to £100pp off rebooked tours departing before 31 January 2022.
The operator has also vowed to keep agents updated on the status of their clients’ holidays, alongside the latest health and safety protocols on its tours.
Managing director Andy Squirrell said: “We have listened to and understand the concerns some travellers have been feeling ahead of their upcoming holiday due to the ongoing outbreak of Covid-19.
"With this in mind, and acknowledging the fluidity of travel advice at this time, Titan has taken the decision to restart all operations from 1 February 2021.
“By doing so, we hope to provide travellers and our trade partners with clarity and reassurance in Titan by not cancelling our tours at short notice whilst providing affected clients with a choice of next steps in advance to find the best solution for them."
Earlier this year, Titan introduced a "peace of mind" policy, allowing travellers the option to postpone or transfer onto another holiday at a later date, should they wish.
It also rolled out a protection policy, which included renewed commitments to cleanliness through enhanced cleaning and safety procedures, new training for tour managers, and a "no quibble" refund policy, with a 14-day cash refund pledge.
The policy also includes £49 flexi deposits on all new bookings, which allows travellers to make unlimited changes to their bookings at no extra cost up to 75 days prior to departure.
"We’re confident our new policies give agents and their clients the control, flexibility and assurance they seek to book and travel with confidence," Squirrell added.
