Wizz Air has launched special fares for British Airways customers whose tickets were cancelled due to a pricing error.
The budget carrier is offering affected BA passengers, for a limited time only, discounted Tel Aviv fares, £80 one way or £160 return.
The fares, for departures up to July 18, include all taxes, non-optional charges and cabin bag, said Wizz.
Bookings can be made until June 25 and customers will need to provide evidence of their BA cancellation.
Owain Jones, Wizz Air chief corporate officer, said: “Wizz Air is delighted to give new customers who’ve been left in the lurch following the cancellation of their BA flights to Tel Aviv the opportunity to break with tradition.
“Don’t wait, the special fares to Tel Aviv will not last long – the regular prices on our network of 51 destinations from Luton [airport] are intentionally low every day, allowing ever more customers to enjoy great value and friendly service on board one of Europe’s youngest aircraft fleets.
“We’re confident new customers will realise there’s no need to pay high prices to travel to some of the most exciting destinations in Europe and beyond.”
One OTA has estimated more than 2,000 travellers may have booked onto BA’s incorrectly priced flights.
BA has apologised, refunded customers and offered them a £100 BA voucher.
