Australia, New Zealand and Asia will provide the back drop for the new series of ITV’s The Cruise.
The new six-part series, the show’s sixth, will be filmed between August and November to air early next year.
Once again, it will be set onboard a Princess Cruises ship, the 3,560-guest Majestic Princess, and offer an insight into the life both of passengers and the ship’s crew.
Destinations will include Sydney, Melbourne, Wellington, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Series five saw The Cruise traverse the Mediterranean, the Baltic, the Caribbean and Alaska, where bookings doubled after the show’s return.
Fans of the series’ can expect the return of some old faces, and several new ones.
Confirmation of The Cruise’s return comes after Princess announced its largest ever season in Australasia for 2019/20 with five ships set to travel to more than 100 destinations, carrying some 200,000 passengers.
The extra capacity laid on will meet growing demand in the UK, with the number of Brits book Australasian cruises with Princess nearly doubling year-on-year in 2018.
