Nominations are open for the 2019 Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) Awards.
The awards, founded in 2008, seek to recognise the achievements of women across the travel sector.
A new Ambassador award was introduced last year to recognise male colleagues actively encouraging and supporting female employees within their business.
For 2019, a new Rising Star award will be introduced to highlight new talent in the industry.
Finalists will be selected by a panel of travel industry judges with a shortlist due to be announced at the start of September.
The winners will be honoured at the AWTE Awards evening on 23 September at the Mayfair Hotel in London.
Chair Claire Osbourne said: “Every day, I come across women who are inspiring colleagues to deliver above and beyond, especially in the current challenging environment with so much uncertainty.
“In addition, the support of male colleagues is also helping women succeed in the workplace too. These awards are the perfect opportunity for the travel industry to recognise these every day achievements.”
Nominations for the five awards are open at www.awte.org.uk.
They are the AWTE Honorary Award; Business Impact Award; Company Award; Ambassador Award; and Rising Star Award.
