Ryanair has set up a new base in Belgium, offering connecting flights to 27 European destinations.
The low-cost carrier’s operations at Brussels Charleroi airport got under way on Thursday (11 April).
Routes via Charleroi include Cagliari-Lisbon, Alicante-Rome and Lisbon-Prague.
Passengers will be able to transfer airside and have their baggage checked through to their final destination using one booking reference for both flights.
Fares for flights through March 2020 are available now, leading in from €24.99 for travel between May and July.
