Six Star Cruises has announced what it claims is “the most expensive cruise holiday in the world”.
The 123-day cruise-and-stay package will call at 41 ports in 11 countries and comes in at
£1 million per couple.
No expense is spared, with the trip featuring luxury hotel accommodation throughout, helicopter transfers and first-class flights.
Besides five private tours, the holiday includes up to 236 shore excursions to ensure guests are immersed “at every opportunity”.
The holiday departs London in November 2021 and wraps up in Tokyo in March 2022. It includes three ultra-luxury cruises with five-star hotel stays in between.
Key features of the trip include spending Christmas and New Year in Sydney, where guests will be able to watch the city’s iconic fireworks display from a private rooftop suite terrace.
Six Star said the journey was inspired by recent Channel 5 series, Secrets of the World’s Most Expensive Cruise.
Other experiences include luxury hotel stays at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai; the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong; and Auckland’s Sofitel Viaduct Harbour.
Private tours include a desert safari in Dubai; a chauffeur-driven tour of Lantau Island in Hong Kong; a private tour of Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton in New Zealand; a tour of the Blue Mountains in Australia; and a helicopter tour of Japan’s Mount Fuji.
Alison Earnshaw, managing director of Six Star Cruises, said: “Providing aspirational packages and bespoke cruise holidays is part of what SixStarCruises is all about.
“The recent demand for luxurious holidays, including expedition and world cruises, proves the appetite for indulgent breaks, and this £1 million package showcases that perfectly.”
