River cruise firm Uniworld has revealed a "sneak peek" of its new ship Sao Gabriel, which is due to launch next year.
Sao Gabriel, which is scheduled to make its debut on 9 April 2020 on Portugal’s Douro river, is one of four Super Ships being launched by Uniworld next year.
Ellen Bettridge, president and chief executive of Uniworld, said: “Expanding upon our commitment to transform our entire fleet to Super Ships in the coming years, we’re thrilled to share a first look at the stunning Sao Gabriel.
“Evoking a fresh new design inspired by the majestic landscapes in Portugal and adorned with gorgeous Portuguese tiles, the Sao Gabriel will bring the destination to life for our guests, while maintaining the highest calibre of service and personalisation.”
The entire top deck of the ship will feature suites with butler service allowing passengers to dine when they want.
When it enters service, Sao Gabriel will be sailing on an 11-day Portugal, Spain & The Douro River Valley itinerary sailing from Lisbon to Porto.
