The domestic holidays specialist saw its overall sales rise by 26% during the first week of January.
Bookings for the operator’s Lodges and Parks product were up 27% year-on-year with activity holidays collection, Go Active, up 21% and boutique hot tub lodges ahead by 19%.
Sales made through agents and third parties rose 36% over the same period last year.
The operator highlighted January 8 as being its “best ever sales day”.
Hoseasons said it believed consumer concerns over currency fluctuations and the economic impact of Brexit, coupled with the addition of more high-quality lodges with hot tubs as contributing to the rise in bookings.
Simon Altham, managing director said customers were “determined” to have a holiday to look forward to during what could prove to be a difficult year.
“Everybody knows that 2017 is shaping up to be a year of uncertainty, but the clear trend for us has been people moving early to guarantee their getaway and take advantage of some great value deals,” he said.
Hoseason’s new year promotions combined with its commitment to innovation was also a strong factor to the operator’s sales surge, Altham added.
“We’ve invested heavily in technology, infrastructure and people over the last 12 months to ensure that we’re able to offer our customers a hassle-free, quick and easy booking experience across all devices, through our contact centre or through one of our high street partners.”
