Carnival Cruise Line has named 12 travel agents its “fun ambassadors” for 2020.
The team will give the cruise line advice, ideas, inspiration and feedback in exchange for benefits such as a fam trip, an all-expenses paid trip to Carnival Rocks Ibiza, double loyalty points on bookings, and an opportunity to be hosted at the 2020 Clia Conference.
Although the cruise line planned to appoint 10 fun ambassadors, up from eight last year, it increased the number to 12 when the entries were assessed.
“We were blown away by this year’s candidates, who all demonstrated a brilliant sense of fun and a passion for cruising,” said Luke Smith, Carnival Cruise Line’s head of international sales.
“I’d like to thank all the agents who applied and would encourage them – and all other agents – to apply again next year as who knows how many we’ll appoint for 2021.”
The 2020 fun ambassadors are Chesney Miller, Barrhead Travel; Joseph Walker, Bolsover Cruise Club; Sally Walker, Cruise.co.uk; Kal Sindhu, Travelbag; Jessica Hartley, Vision Cruise; Mem Adem, Cruise 1st; Toni Hill, Cruise 365; Jed Wakefield-Coombes, Hays Travel; Gemma Buckley, Virgin Holidays; Greg Hill, World Travel Holdings; Samantha Storey, Cruise Nation; and Beth Hullett, Iglu.
